Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance
Welcome to the Careers section of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra Girls School.
Our aim is to ensure that every student has access to high-quality careers education, information, advice and guidance, helping them make informed decisions about their future.
We want our students to develop an understanding of their interest, strengths and ambitions, explore a wide range of careers, meet professionals from different industries and discover the many pathways available after school.
Through careers lessons, employer encounters, careers interviews, university and college presentations, work experience and skills-development opportunities, students are encouraged to become confident, independent and informed decision-makers.
What We Offer
Explore Careers: Discover different professions, industries, job profiles and career pathways.
Meet Employers: Learn directly from professionals through careers talks, interviews, networking events and workplace visits.
Explore Further Education: Find out about sixth forms, colleges, universities, apprenticeships, T Levels and vocational qualifications
Develop Employability Skills: Build confidence in communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, digital literacy, CV writing and interview techniques
Gain Experience: Explore work experience, volunteering, mentoring, workplace visits and other enrichment opportunities
Plan Your Future: Access reliable careers information, application advice and guidance to help you make informed decisions at every stage of your education
Your Future Starts Here
You do not need to have your entire future planned out. Careers education is about exploring possibilities, discovering your strengths and understanding the opportunities available to you.
We encourage all students to take an active role in their career development, participate in the opportunities offered by the school and seek guidance when needed.
