Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakahtuh,

I am delighted to welcome you to Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra School in Birmingham.

Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra Girls School is a true community of students, teachers and support staff all pulling in the same direction with our parents. This means that we constantly strive to get the best out of each child whilst providing them with a holistic, nurturing environment that allows them to grow and develop as well rounded Muslimas. We want students to develop a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

We offer a combination of subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 that allow our students to develop a broad and balanced range of skills as well as knowledge. The teaching team combines professional experience with innovative learning practices as well as a commitment to the care of all. The students are therefore academically challenged and supported in equal measure.

The extra-curricular programme is as important as the core curriculum in the development of social and leadership skills as well as confidence. Our programme includes academic extension (such as Science club) along with life skills (such as cooking club) as well as creative (Drama and Islamic Art).

While we recognise the value and importance of academic success we also want our students to leave HKKG School as self-confident, British citizens. We know GCSE results matter but, we also place great importance on character and values in the development of well-rounded young Muslim adults, preparing them to thrive, lead and inspire the 21st century. Through academic and pastoral experiences we aim to develop curiosity, compassion, kindness, awareness, honesty and integrity in each of our students. As such, our PSHE (Personal, Social and Health education) programme permeates the curriculum in order to develop our young charges personal and moral dimensions.

This is the key to our success, continued motivation and determination. It is also the key to producing new generations of thoughtful, kind, balanced, resilient, culturally literate, young, Muslima leaders that will help to build a better future for us all.

I look forward to welcoming you when you visit.
