Head Girl's Message
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakahtuh,
I have been blessed with countless unforgettable moments, supported throughout by caring teachers, encouraging parents, and a sisterhood that began from my very first day. The kindness, respect, and unity shared among our pupils is truly special and has remained a constant throughout my journey. Ramadan, in particular, has always been one of my favourite times at HKKGS – filled with Eid celebrations, games, laughter, and a strong spirit of generosity that brings our whole school together in lasting memory.
Beyond the classroom, HKKGS offers enriching educational experiences through inspiring school trips, from exploring science at the London Science Museum to stepping back in time at the Black Country Museum, learning history at the London Dungeons, and observing democracy in practice at the Houses of Parliament. Each year also brings meaningful opportunities for personal growth, from Bikeability in Year 7 to NHS research projects where students present community-focused case studies at the Children’s Hospital. Our enrichment days equip pupils with vital life skills such as CPR, health awareness, character development, and financial education supported by Barclays.
A defining strength of HKKGS is our commitment to charity. We regularly fundraise for local and national causes, and this Ramadan alone, we raised over £1,500, alhamdulillah: a reflection of the compassion, responsibility, and community spirit our school instils. This same spirit is captured in The HKKGS Times, our half-termly newsletter, which showcases the achievements, dedication, and growth of our pupils as young Muslimahs striving to be their best.
