The Trustees of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra Girls School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and forward-thinking teacher who places a high priority on raising standards and is committed to providing a balanced education.
The person we are seeking will :-
- be passionate about the subject
- be an innovative and inspiring classroom teacher
- have a secure knowledge and understanding of the skills in their specialist subject to enable them to teach it confidently and accurately
- have, for their specialist subject a detailed knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and the AQA Specification
- have a secure knowledge and understanding of Science and be confident in its use as a teaching and learning resource for both pupils and teachers.
- have strong differentiation skills
- have the ability to engage pupils with a creative approach
- develop pupils to become independent learners
The successful candidate will hold a teaching qualification gained in the UK. However, a degree qualification with experience in teaching will be considered.

- A good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications, with a willingness to further develop IT skills
- Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a proactive, can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tactfully and confidently with telephone callers and visitors
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times
- A willingness to obtain an appropriate first aid qualification (or hold one already)
- The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- The capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Accuracy in recording information and effective use of the school’s computer systems
- Some bookkeeping experience (desirable, but not essential)
