“Developing young minds, helping them fulfil their potential”

On behalf of Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra Girls School, I would like to welcome you to our website. We hope you find it informative and reflective of our school, its ethos and values.

As an independent Islamic school, our faith underpins everything we do. We strive for our students to be happy, safe, and confident muslimas, who are successful in life, with a desire to benefit the community and have an impact on the world. Our girls are encouraged to demonstrate core Islamic values of kindness, truthfulness, and justice. Our ethos informs our curriculum, and our daily activities, including establishing daily prayers at school, weekly Quran reading, regular charitable activities, and assemblies that encourage our young girls to reflect on the religious and spiritual aspects of their lives and their roles in society.

Our vision is to develop exceptional students, with a love for Allah and a strong Muslim identity, who are caring and empathic, with appreciation for diversity, who are aspirational and ambitious, and confident that they can achieve whatever they set their minds to. We strive to develop students’ character and equip them with moral courage and resilience to deal with the challenges of the modern world.

We have a highly motivated, resourceful, and committed team of staff and trustees who care about and nurture the needs of every student and we encourage parent involvement and support as partners in their children’s education.

Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise.”  (Muslim)

We encourage our students to express their views, take ownership of their school and work actively to improve their school community. They are empowered to become independent and invited to work effectively with the school leadership and the wider community to improve the quality of their education and their local community. Through the school’s enrichment, mindfulness, and wellbeing programmes, challenging and engaging lessons, interfaith projects and community service opportunities, our students develop long-lasting friendships and a love of learning.

I hope that our website gives you a flavour of our school. If you are interested in applying for a place for your daughter, please get in touch and visit our school during one of our open days.
